The City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department has been hard at work making changes to Turtle Creek Park’s irrigation system on The Green and Great Lawn.
The old sprinkler system is being upgraded from battery-operated to electric. In the past, if the battery died the irrigation system would run not turn on. This would result in the lawns not being properly watered, which can cause major problems in the hot summer months.
This upgrade will allow us to have a more reliable and consistent irrigation schedule for The Green and Great Lawn. Thank you to the Park & Recreation Department for their help on this project!
