Help Us Create a Sea of Blue Along Cedar Springs Creek!

The Conservancy at Turtle Creek Park is excited to bring a beautiful new spring tradition to our community! Our Bluebonnet Project will transform approximately 30,000 square feet along the north and south banks of Cedar Springs Creek into a breathtaking display of native Texas Bluebonnets.

Stretching from the newly restored Cedar Springs Cascade Waterfall to the pedestrian bridge, this project will enhance the natural beauty of Turtle Creek Park, restore the creek banks, and create a vibrant seasonal landscape for visitors, families, neighbors, and residents to enjoy.

Our Progress: The Transformation Has Begun!

Work is officially underway! In partnership with Yellow Rose Landscaping, crews have begun clearing dense brush, weeds, and vines along the creek banks and preparing the soil for planting.

Thousands of Texas Bluebonnet seeds are planned for planting this fall, with the goal of bringing a beautiful blanket of blue to Turtle Creek Park in spring 2027.

We are especially grateful to Yellow Rose Landscaping for their hard work, expertise, and dedication as a wonderful partner in bringing this vision to life.

Help Us Bring the Bluebonnets to Life!

While the restoration and preparation of the creek banks are underway, we still need your support!

The Conservancy continues to raise funds for the purchase of Texas Bluebonnet seeds and the ongoing care and maintenance needed to help this landscape flourish for years to come.

Our initial project budget is $10,000, which includes:

  • $7,000 for clearing, ground preparation, and soil improvements

  • $3,000 for Texas Bluebonnet seeds

Your generosity will help establish this beautiful new landscape and support its continued care.

A New Spring Tradition for Turtle Creek Park

Our vision extends beyond the banks of Cedar Springs Creek. We hope this first planting will serve as the beginning of a larger effort to introduce beautiful Texas Bluebonnets throughout Turtle Creek Park in the years ahead.

Imagine walking along Turtle Creek Park each spring, surrounded by thousands of vibrant bluebonnets, creating a picturesque setting for families, neighbors, photographers, and visitors to enjoy.

With your support, we can turn this vision into a lasting spring tradition for generations to come!
